1. Take a look at the mag…
Before you submit anything to YEAH, we suggest that you take a look at some of our past issues.
Hopefully, this will give you a better idea as to the sort of magazine we are. It will also allow you to think about how your ideas might fit in.
2. Think about the theme…
Each issue is theme based, we decide these themes and their deadlines well in advance. You can see a list of our future themes later on in this pack.
How you interpret the theme is totally up to you. We want your work to reflect your own unique interpretation of the theme.
3. Decide what to do…
We accept contributions in any form - provided we can print it on paper.
Usually, our contributors are a mixture of writers, photographers, illustrators, designers, artists… but we really will accept anything.
4. Send us your work…
To make sure your work looks as good as possible, we have outlined in this pack our basic artwork guidelines.
Please do take the time to read these, and try to stick to them.
Along with your work, we ask that you send us the following - A photograph of yourself, for the contributors page. Your name as you would like it to be printed. A postal address where we can send your complimentary copy of the magazine, should your work be printed.
5. Sit back and wait…
As I mentioned before, all contributors will recieve a complimentary copy of the magazine.
But don’t stop there, you can order copies from our website.
We really would appreciate if you supported the project, encouraging your friends and family to buy a copy. The more support we get, the more we can continue to support emerging creative talent, just like you.
